I’m a fine art family, newborn and maternity photographer based in Shinfield, Reading, with almost 10 years experience photographing families across Berkshire and beyond, including Reading, Wokingham, Winnersh, Earley, Arborfield, Bracknell, Slough. I also photograph family events and corporate occasions.
Being a computer engineer, I never thought to embark on this creative journey to become a professional photographer. But, I picked up a DSLR camera to capture my lil one and it quickly evolved into something deeper. I realised that everyday moments matter most. Morning light filtering through window, your son’s laughter or your daughter's eyes tell a story words can’t. These are the moments that define us and that’s what I capture for you in a family session with me.
What I do
I create artistic, emotive portraits that help families see themselves the way I see them. My work focuses on authentic moments, often inspired by the ordinary details of daily life, and finished as fine art you can print and keep. Your photographs won’t be just another decoration. What to Expect When You Book a Family Photoshoot
I'm with you every step of the way — from our first conversation to the moment your print products arrive at your door.
We start with a conversation
Reach out through my contact form or give me a call. Most families aren't sure exactly what they want yet and that's completely alright. We'll chat about your family, what you're envisioning, and whether we're the right fit for each other.
Timeline: I respond within 24 hours.
Planning Your photoshoot!
Once you book, we'll have a detailed planning consultation, either in person or via video call.
Every family session is planned to make you feel like yourself, tell your story so that it means something to your family. I'll ask a few questions to understand your family, your children's favorite activities, and the kind of vibe you want. Then I'll help you choose the perfect location and timing.
You'll also receive my styling guide to help you co-ordinate outfits that photograph beautifully while still feeling like you.

What to expect during your photoshoot!
This is the fun part!
Get ready for giggles, cuddles and tickles! This is your family’s moment to play, laugh and be completely wrapped up in each other. Scoop your children up, shower them with love, and steal a long look into your partner’s eyes. I’ll be right there to guide you and capture every bit of it.
Whether we’re at home with a picnic in your garden, cuddling on the sofa or off exploring somewhere beautiful, I’ll guide you throughout, chasing the best light while the real moments happen. We’ll weave in the things your children love most: racing around, climbing, exploring and playing together.
No posing skills needed. I’ll nudge you into simple games and little moments that feel like playtime, not a photoshoot. Most families tell me it just felt like a lovely afternoon together, and the images show it: effortless, joyful and completely unposed.
Let the little ones be themselves. Mid-giggle or mid-meltdown, that’s where the real magic is. So please skip the “sit still” and “look at the camera!” I love meeting children at their own energy level. Bring snacks, favourite toys or comfort items, whatever keeps them happy.
Absolutely no stiff poses. No “say cheese.” Just real, joyful moments that make your family uniquely yours.
How do I choose my photos?
2-3 weeks after your session, you’re invited to my home studio for a private viewing. I’ll guide you through your beautifully edited gallery, and together we’ll choose your favourites and design wall art for your home.
This is where your photographs become something to live with: portraits on your walls that your children will grow up looking at, and remember as part of home. It isn’t rushed. It’s a relaxed, enjoyable experience where you see how each image looks as real art, before you choose exactly what’s right for your family. Your printed products will be delivered to you after I check them for quality personally.
