Bluebell photoshoot in Newbury !
Bluebells this year were exceptional for a reason. Being new in the UK, I witnessed these mesmerising wildflower fields for the first time. And when you get to meet a beautiful family, spend some time with them in bluebells and create beautiful images for them, it's like a cherry on top. :)
Bluebells this year came with lovely sunny weather. I was excitedly looking forward to the session. However, it changed on the day of our shoot; it was pretty cloudy and rainy. I was new to this everchanging and unpredictable UK weather. :) It changes every minute, and I was still hopeful.
Mommy in this family is my friend. She has been following my work for a year now. I am thankful to her for trusting me not to reschedule the session. We went ahead as planned to visit these beautiful wildflowers. Clouds disappeared for a moment, and Bluebells shone with the droplets of water from earlier rain. The little one enjoyed running around in the field. Even the sun peaked on us momentarily to get into pictures. The session went well!
I always aim to capture those natural moments and connections between families while giving as little instructions as possible. They loved their session and the pictures too!
Do you worry about the weather while booking your session?
When you are booking Spring shoots with bluebells or blossoms, I keep myself pretty flexible, and I expect the same from clients for two reasons. One, These flowers are pretty sensitive to weather, so their bloom time varies every year; Second, April and May are rainy, so we always need to work with backup dates.
And if you like a little adventure, we can go ahead with an umbrella, jump in the puddles, explore the ponds and enjoy the rain while creating the most authentic memories for your family. As long as there is enough light, You can count me in. :)
