Spring photoshoot | Professional Family Photographer | Reading, Berkshire
Do you think your children are too old to do a family photoshoot with?
I had fun capturing this mummy with her children last spring. The younger daughter is in college, and the older son is about to get married. They wanted to capture this moment in time before the status quo changed. As children grow, they drift away from family while finding their own place in this world. All they need to know is that their family is always there to support them no matter what, no matter where they go. That's the sentiment I love to capture when it comes to family portraits.
Spring adds an element of beauty to the pictures, and I love family photoshoots during spring for many reasons. More about that later but gone are the days when family pictures used to be just about going to the studio, dressing up in nice pair of formal, posing well to hide a couple of pounds, and smiling at the camera. It's more about capturing the dynamics of your family, letting the relations shine through the laughter you share and capturing your family story.
